I really enjoy all things sci-fi and fantasy. A stronger combination of which is found in no game series more so than Fallout. Alas, my bug (more of a giant bug) phobia has locked me in the position of a over-the-shoulder observer. Never being able to fully experience the radioactive joys collecting bottle caps and hunting super mutants. However, thanks to a recent Fallout 4 announcement, some mods, and one very encouraging 11 year old son, I have gleefully ventured headlong into the wastes of New Vegas.
Hunts Gone Wild: Witcher 3 Impressions
I've been playing the Witcher 3 for a few weeks now, and I have felt a mixed bag of feelings during my time with the game. Initially I was overwhelmed at the scale and depth of the experience. After a week, the "jank" began to shine through. I experienced several broken quests, missing NPCs, crashes, and my horse....is another story completely. However, despite a long list of technical short comings I can't stop playing. I find myself taking small breaks, only to feel the urge to dive back into it's dark fantasy world for a few more hours.
